Justine Rowe

I grew up in an animal orientated environment where we had many family pets, I also began riding from the age of 4 where my love for horses started. I previously worked for a hunt and show jumping yard, and worked with the World Wild Life Fun where I managed a private Zoo, thereafter I moved to Spain and found a position at a spaghetti western show town where I learnt all about trick riding, this was a fantastic position and very interesting.

I soon returned to the UK, where I got married and had my children and spent a few years (ongoing) running after them. I then started working at a Polo yard, which unfortunately, after an accident ended this career. This led to me returning back to college, where I completed a varied course covering Animal Care, Law, behaviour and massage.

Soon after I opened up an Equine department at Norton Radstock College to run alongside the animal care departments, for 15 years!  Where I then decided to work with apprentices mainly in Zoos and Safaris.

Since being here at Bellevue vets I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and greeting our lovely clients and patients. Which lead me to completing the gold level British Veterinary Receptionist Association award.
