I have been a resident and Veterinary Surgeon in the Frome area for over 30 years.
After first graduating from Nottingham University with a degree in Agriculture, I then went on to the University of London’s Royal Veterinary College to study Veterinary Science in 1974, during the course of which I ‘saw practice’ in Frome and promptly moved here once qualified.
I have worked with farm animals and horses throughout my career and have now created a Practice with my colleagues based on the old-fashioned values of a friendly rural Veterinary Surgery with a modern, well-equipped facility. Our intention is to establish an RCVS-recognised Small and Large Animal Hospital.
With my family I keep sheep and horses and, over the years, I have watched my daughter successfully compete in BE Eventing, my interest in which has extended to supporting British Eventing and British Endurance in my role of FEI Vet at International Events.
When time allows, my love for the outdoors leads me to gardening, sailing, skiing and walking, and when further time allows I always enjoy a good project!
